2008 WCPA/WCASA Fall Conference Program Proposal

The 2008 WCPA/WCASA Fall Conference theme is “Campus Safety: Everyone’s Responsibility.”

Suggested program topics include: student safety while studying abroad; self harm; mental health issues; assault; sexual assualt; bystander intervention; LGBT safety; personal defense; safety for students with disabilities; suicide; identifying students needing help; developing personal or office safety plans; prevention or intervention tactics, and campus-wide strategies for addressing sexual violence.

Audio-Visual Needs:
WCPA will provide in each programming room these items: 1 easel w/ paper and 3 markers 1 LCD panel/laptop with Microsoft Power Point and screen. Also available are one overhard projector, CD player and a VCR to hook up to a LCD. Please indicate what materials you will using for your session?

Outline: In order for our Program Selection Team to select a quality program for our conference please submit a tentative outline of your program. Be sure the program you are planning realistically fits into the 60 minute session timeframe.
